50 Ways to Save in 2013

I know that many of you used Amazon for your holiday shopping. I would bet that many of you used Amazon for the first time in 2012. But did you know that you can buy groceries on Amazon too? Yes, you can! And, it is a way to save BIG time on your grocery budget. Check this out.

Besides the regular savings, there is also the subscribe and save option where you can save another 5%. Subscribe and Save means you can lock in that price and have it shipped at periodic intervals.. every month, 2 months, 3 months or 6 months. Subscribe and Save reminds you an item is about to ship and then bills your preferred payment and automatically ships to your door for FREE. I have used this option several times over the last 6 years and love the convenience. It is super easy to cancel the item if you no longer need it. Or, you can cancel just one shipment and resume at the next interval. The program is very simple to manage.

Here are some of the deals I see currently on grocery/household items on Amazon:

Peter Pan Peanut Butter - A 6-pack of 16.3oz Jars - only $14.95! Subscribe and Save for $14.20. That is only $2.36 a jar.. much less than normal prices in all CNY stores. (Wegmans has it for $2.69) The savings may seem minimal but when taking into account the gas savings and the "oops I forgot the peanut butter I have to go to the store again and walk out after spending $20 on other items I saw syndrome..." there is definite savings. :)

Goldfish Crackers 1oz Bags 60 Pack, $15.78. For a comparison, Wegmans has a 9-pack box of 1oz bags for $5.49. So, if you bought 54 (6 Boxes) that would be $32.94. This one is a HUGE savings! While I would normally just choose to buy the big box and split it up in sandwich baggies, this option works great for long term use. Like, I can throw them in the diaper bags or in the car for "emergencies" and forget about them. Can't do that with a plastic baggie... yuck!

Quilted Northern Bath Tissue, $0.47 a roll. Here is how:

Currently Amazon has a 48 Roll Pack of Quilted Northern Bath Tissue on sale for $23.94 OR $22.74 with the Subscribe & Save option. I can tell you that the goal for couponers is ALWAYS to shoot for $0.50 or under a roll and that can sometimes be hard to achieve. This is a GREAT bargain! To lock in at this price? Even better! And Amazon tells you when you click on this item, that it is a #1 best seller. That many people can't be wrong! *I actually see a $1.00 coupon as well which drops the price even more. Amazing Deal!

Pampers Cruisers Diapers Size 5 140 count, $45.99. Or $43.69 with Subscribe & Save OR even better - $36.79 for Amazon Mom Members. To give you an idea of how WOW of a deal this is... a 72 count box is normally $24.99 in stores. With a coupon it would be $23.99. So, 2 boxes = 144 diapers and is $47.98. If you are a Amazon Mom member, you save almost $12 a month. AWESOME! (Just to note Amazon Mom members save 20% on all Diapers and wipes purchases on Amazon)

Besides these 4 deals, there are thousands of other great deals! Let me know when you see one and I will be on the lookout for some as well!
